Veterinary Care Unlimited was formed in early 1990 by its founders, Dr. Theresa Paoloni and Ria Puma. Starting from a 3 family house on Rockaway Blvd, Vet Care turned from a distant dream to a reality. The doctor and owner Dr. Theresa Paoloni along with long time friend and newly appointed Hospital Administrator Ria Puma set one common goal for the newly formed hospital. "High quality veterinary care".

In 1990 Dr. Paoloni, Ria and their small staff of one receptionist and two technicians began providing that high quality care to one pet at a time. The Ozone Park community rapidly grasped this concept and today 2004 Dr. Paoloni, Ria and their experienced staff of fifteen have extended that same care to thousands of pets throughout NY. Some of Dr. Paoloni's clients currently travel with their pets from as far as Southern New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Veterinary Care Unlimited remains current with new advancements in veterinary medicine and utilizes state of the art equipment in their practice.
